Please read our terms and conditions carefully before registering for our classes and events.
Joining dance classes and events organised by ZoukLab Antwerp vzw and their teachers means that the terms and conditions are known and accepted.
Visitors (students, participants and guests) should follow the rules during their stay in and around the dance room.
In the classes we aim to create a relaxed, enjoyable and safe atmosphere for everyone. Everyone is expected to cooperate with this. Disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated and can result in direct and permanent exclusion from all classes and events. The teachers of ZoukLab VZW have the final decision right in case of non-agreement with a participant or student.
Consumption of alcohol, smoking or the use of drugs is strictly forbidden.
Teachers have the right to prohibit access of any participant to the dance classes or events without assignment of reason.
To participate in our classes or events, you first need to register through our website www.zouklab.be. We would be grateful if you could do this at least one week before the event. By registering, you accept our terms and conditions.
Following your registration, you'll receive confirmation by email. If you do not receive an email ten minutes after registration, please check your spam folder and add info@zouklab.be to your contacts.
The tuition needs to be paid not later than 7 days after the registration or before the event starts (whatever comes first). The payment details will be provided during the registration and sent to you by email.
If you don't complete the payment 7 days after the registration, your registration will be cancelled and you will have to register again.
Before your registration is removed you will first receive a payment reminder.
In accordance with Article VI.53, 12° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts concerning leisure activities when the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
As all classes and events organised by ZoukLab Antwerp vzw are leisure activities scheduled on specific dates, no statutory right of withdrawal applies once the registration has been confirmed.
If you can no longer attend the event you registered for, we never reimburse the paid fee.
If you can no longer attend the classes/the event because of serious health reasons, you can – under certain conditions – recover the missed classes during a later term or use the credit for another event organised by ZoukLab vzw.
This only applies if you miss four or more successive classes.
Before your fourth missed class, you have to send us a short explanation, as well as a scan or copy of the doctor's note, covering the entire period of absence.
You can then subtract the amount corresponding to your missed classes from your next payment.
If a group is too small we reserve the right to cancel the event. If possible, ZoukLab will offer an alternative option.
In case you then decide you want to cancel the registration, your registration fee will be reimbursed, less the amount corresponding to the number of classes you already took.
In case of strong imbalance of a group, the last subscriptions of leaders or followers may be moved to a waiting list. If no balance can be achieved, ZoukLab VZW has the right to cancel your subscription. A full refund will be provided in this case.
More experienced dancers might be asked to help out in another class to balance the class. It's up to the teachers to decide who can take this role.
ZoukLab VZW has the right to cancel classes or events and shift the planning forward. Any cancelled class will be made up and ZoukLab VZW will make all reasonable efforts to organise the catch-up class on the same day as the original class.
In case of class suspension because of force majeure (including but not limited to government measures, pandemics, natural disasters or circumstances beyond reasonable control), your subscription is paused until the classes resume again.
Joining the dance activities is at your own risk.
ZoukLab VZW and their teachers are not responsible for loss, harm and injuries of any kind as a consequence of participating in activities organised by ZoukLab VZW or their teachers, except in cases of fraud, wilful misconduct or mandatory legal liability under Belgian law.
Each person is responsible for their own property. During the class, event or party ZoukLab VZW and their teachers are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal properties.
Loss or damage of properties of the dance school or venue caused by a visitor will always be charged.
ZoukLab Antwerp vzw maintains civil liability insurance in accordance with Belgian law. Participants are responsible for their own personal accident insurance unless otherwise explicitly stated.
By registering through our website you provide personal data. These personal data are processed by ZoukLab Antwerp vzw for the purposes of event organisation, registration management, communication and accounting.
The legal basis for processing is the performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations.
Personal data are not passed on to third parties, except where legally required or necessary for the organisation of the activities.
Personal data are stored only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above and in accordance with legal retention obligations.
Participants have the right to access, rectify or erase their personal data, restrict or object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Use of video or sound devices (photo, video, tape, etc.) in and around the class is only allowed after permission of the teachers. This permission can be ended directly without assignment of reason.
Photos or videos made during classes and events can be used for promotional purposes. If you do not agree, you need to inform the teachers explicitly in advance.

Our basic pricing structure is a subscription formula for all classes of one term (mostly 12 classes per term). This price remains the same, regardless of the number of classes you did in fact attend.
It is thus not possible to be reimbursed for missed classes, or to transfer them to the next term.
These terms and conditions are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the judicial district of Antwerp, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
ZoukLab Antwerp vzw reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The version applicable is the version in force at the time of registration.
If any provision of these terms is declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully valid and enforceable.
By registering or attending an event, you accept the conditions above.
